The Features

XPH10Z 1/2″ Hammer Driver-Drill

The XPH10Z 1/2″ hammer drill driver is an essential tool for most handymen, which why it’s a part of many cordless combo sets by Makita. It’s a robust and durable drill/driver with an engine that provides up to 480 in.lbs. of torque. You will be able to make holes in the hardest wood, but you will also drill through metal, rock, and concrete with ease. The drill produces up to 1900 RPM, and the hammer makes up to 29,000 beats per minute. So, no matter what the material you are working is -nothing will stop this drill.

Weighing only 3.4 pounds, this tool is easy to control. The ergonomic handle provides a firm grip so you’ll be able to work for hours without feeling any fatigue. The drill has two built-in LED lights that illuminate the piece you are working for. It’s a small feature that helps you come up with excellent results even in areas with low light. The 4-pole motor is one of the most powerful you can find in cordless tools, so shouldn’t have any issues when it comes to drilling. Extra features like the extreme protection technology increase the durability of the drill by making it resistant to dust, debris, and even water. The 18V battery provides up to 10 hours of work time.

XSS02Z 6-1/2″ Circular Saw

Every woodworker needs a reliable circular saw, and the XSS02Z indeed is one. It’s powerful, well-designed, but most importantly -it’s cordless. That means that you can take it to a remote job site and still get everything done. The saw has a powerful motor that can produce up to 3,700 RPM. You won’t even feel the softer wood as you cut, but it’s also powerful enough to cut through the hardest wood. The heavy gauge at the base increases the durability of the saw and the precision of each cut.

The bevel is adjustable to the maximum of 50 degrees. That is a feature that you won’t find on similar tools and a one that will make tough cuts much more manageable. The weight of the saw is 7.3lbs, which means that you won’t have a hard time controlling it. You won’t feel fatigue even if you use the saw for hours. Once you try it out, you will never be able to go back to a standard circular saw.

XRJ04Z Recipro Saw

The lightweight XRJ04Z Recipro saw is a useful tool ideal for cutting wooden boards, walls, and plaster too. The saw has plenty of power, and it can deliver up to 2,800 SPM, making short work of most cutting jobs you might have around the house. The stroke is 1-1/4″ in length, so you won’t have to make multiple cuts when working with the standard sized boards and beams. Changing blades only takes a couple of seconds, and you don’t need any tools to do it.

XPH10Z Impact Driver

The XPH10Z Impact Driver is one of the most compact yet very powerful tools in this Makita set. The 4-pole motor packs a punch and delivers 1460 pounds of torque. Most other battery-powered tools can’t provide half that. The maximum speed of the rotating tip is 2900 RPM, while the impact driver delivers 3500 RPM at maximum settings. This tool has a broad application and can help you make quick fixes around the house at any time.

DML185 Xenon Flashlight

An excellent cordless kit always comes with a portable work light, and the DML185 Xenon Flashlight is something you will learn to love. The light has 4 positions, and it runs up to 8 hours on a single charge! It can help you when working in low light areas, but they also do wonders in complete darkness.
